Delete Your Account

For CarFix accounts created on the website or in the CarFix mobile app.

Delete from the mobile app

  • Open the CarFix app and sign in.
  • Go to Menu, then your profile, then Delete Account.
  • Confirm the deletion. Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion.

Delete from the website

  • Sign in at carfix.to/account.
  • Open your account settings and choose Delete Account.
  • Confirm the deletion.

If you cannot sign in, contact us at support@carfix.to from the email address on your account and we will process the deletion for you.

What happens next

  • Your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. Signing back in during those 30 days cancels the deletion and restores your account.
  • After the grace period, your profile, vehicles, saved locations, quote requests, messages, and notification history are permanently deleted.
  • Records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes are retained only as long as the law requires, then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can remove specific data from CarFix while keeping your account open:

  • Vehicles: open Garage, open the vehicle, and choose Delete Vehicle. This permanently removes the vehicle along with its service history, reminders, and photos.
  • Saved locations: open Saved Locations in the app menu or your account settings and delete any entry.
  • Anything else: email support@carfix.to from the email address on your account and tell us which data to delete. We process these requests within 30 days.

The same legal-retention rule applies: records we must keep by law are retained only as long as required, then deleted.
